Wedding of V Thangaraj who is the son of former State Minister R M Veerappan took place here yesterday. Rajnikanth while speaking on this occasion said,” The friendship between R M V and me is very deep.
Many have profited because of me and some have incurred heavy losses because of me. One of such person is R M V. When he incurred a heavy loss I contacted over him over the phone and conveyed my grief. He told me that it is times compel.
Believers say that this is God’s alms while Atheists say that it is times compel. There is nothing difference between the two. When I was doing and anti hero roles those days, Batcha earned me a big name and fame.
This film was also produced by R M Veerappan. Even four or five hours will not be enough for me to explain that how much interest R M Veerappan took to shape up Batcha character. In the similar way he showed the keen interest in the role Alex Pandian for the film Moondru Mugam. This film was also produced by R M Veerappan.
Many have been asking me to do a film like Batcha. I told them that I cannot do such a film even if I wanted. I can do this type of role only if R M Veerappan wants. I told this to RMV also. He said we can do more bigly then Batcha and asked me the dates. He has not earned much. But he has learned lot of friends and big men. The wedding couple should keep up this.’
