Theatre owners upset over Vijay films

VijayTamil Nadu Theatre Owners Associations general secretary while speaking to the media said,” All the 6 films which Vijay did the lead roles were utter flops. Because of this we have incurred a loss of Rs 30 Crores.

 

In order to compensate this Vijay has to pay us 35% of the money. Actors Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Manirathnam and T Rajendhar have paid the compensations when their films failed.

In the same Vijay has also to compensate. We are asking this on humanitarian grounds. If he does not compensate us by June, we will discuss on all the forums and decide the next course of action against him.”

Because the heros like vijay take hefty amount from the producers, the cost of
production goes up.The exibitors ultimately load the ticket charges on the
viewers,There is no control.Recently I was charged Rs.80/- per ticket for the
film SURA in a third rated theatre in a small town Tenkasi of TamilNadu.This is
a sheer looting.What leading stars like Vijay say on this?

Hi Gayathri,

upcoming movies means those that are yet to realease and running
means that are released.
You can be an ardent fan of vijay but just dont
encourage his bad work.

y should the theatre owners share the profit

Idhu nalla irukku thambi...for audience it is only a loss of 80 rs or 100
rs...but for distributors , producers the loss ratio goes in lakhs and
crores...for us it is entertainment thats all but for them it is their
life....buisness...if one film goes flop thats all they have to suicide like
G.Venkatesh owner of GV films did...so dont support him think of producers and

Hi All,

I also read about the mentioned news in a magazine. Yes I do agree that
most of Vijay's recent movies are flops. But we cannot blame him alone. He too
did excellent movies live Priyamudan, Kannukkul Nilavu, and Friends. But people
did not encourage such beautiful movies. So he changed his trend. So the
audience play an important role here. If the public encourages good films,
directors and actors will boldly do such films. But tamil audience are
unpredictable.

Vijay's dances r very graceful, but his dance steps, acting, dialogue delivery
and expressions need to undergo a sea-change; otherwise he is bound to vanish
from tamil filmworld. No distributor will be interested to burn his hands again
and again. He delivers dialogue with a very stern and lifeless face. Almost all
his films have the same story.

Wat the hell, ur ask producers and distributor to beg Vijay.
Wat so great of vijay. he could be a sh.. instead of glittering now if his
father is not there? There are many guys out there with tremendous skills who
dont have opportunity to shine. Wat he is now is an opportunity striked him for
being a son of a director. Crazy fellow he has a kuttu pathu, fight and little
sentimental story and little comedy to produce his masala stories. Otherwise he
is a zero compare to kamal, vikram, simbu, ajith and few more as they all have
their special talent and utilising it to the fullest.

please get some advice from Macho Hero Surya on acting..Surya is superb
nowdays..his Vaaranam Ayiram movie is superb la jo..and yours totally sucks..do
