Marriage between Rajni’s younger daughter Soundarya and builder Aswin Ram Kumar is to take place on September 3rd. The marriage is to take place at Egmore Rani Meiyammai Raja Muthaiah Mandapam. The traditional Kanchipuram silk saree for the wedding is getting ready.

The list of invitees is ready. Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are to be invited. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will be coming for the marriage.

Hollywood actor Richard Gere who is close to Rajnikanth is also invited for the marriage. Apart from this Central and State Ministers are also being invited. Actors from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will also attend the marriage in large numbers. The invitation card has been designed by Aswin Ram Kumar and Soundarya.

The couple will extend the invitations to important people in person. After the marriage they will settle in an apartment at Spur Tank Road in Chetput. Soundarya is currently directing the animation film Sultan the Warrior. The work of this high budgeted film is in the final stages. She has planned to release the film before the marriage. Similarly Rajni is also planning to release Endhiran before the marriage.
