 Vijay is currently donning the lead role in the film titled Thuppaki directed by A R Murugadoss. This film which is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu has the music of Harris Jayaraj. The shooting of this film was going on in a full-fledged manner in Mumbai.
Cinema News From Tamilomovie.com The shooting of this film was slightly postponed because Vijay was busy in the promo work of Nanban. At the time when Nanban was released, problems between the Producers Council and FEFSI arose and because of this the shooting of the film Thuppaki was stalled.

 Vidyut Jammwal is donning the villain role in Ajith starrer Billa 2 and in Vijay starrer Thuppaki. He is very happy because he is simultaneously acting with two big actors of the Tamil film industry. Vidyut Jammwal while speaking about this said, " I am very happy that I am with Ajith and Vijay.

Since Tendulkar has been the brand ambassador of Boost for past 25 years, the manufacturers have produced a grand video album marking this special occasion.

 The new decision of Tamil Film Producers Council that big budget movies with A-league stars should be released only during five festival occasions had paved way of hope for the medium and small budget movies. Apparently the makers of Udumban were confident that they can get their movie released by February.

 Following the huge success of Mankatha that happens to be Ajith Kumar’s golden jubilee movie, Venkat Prabhu ws busy working on the script of his next series of movies. Now the director has confirmed his next couple of projects. Soon after Suriya completes shooting for Maatran, the actor will join hands with Venkat Prabhu for a multi-starrer movie that will have Telugu actor Ravi Teja in lead role as well. The film is produced by Suriya’s relative K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner name of Studio Green Films.
