Sakthi waiting for Silambarasan

simbuCinematographer Sakthi made his debut in films through the movie Renigunta and has now handled cinematography for the films Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, 18 Vayasu and Vettai Mannan. Much impressed with the rushes of Vettai Mannan, producer SS Chakravarthy has appreciated him a lot and in fact Silambarasan signed him for his international album LOVE ANTHEM.

Says Sakthi: ‘We shot the promo video for Love Anthem teaser within half day and it has received a warm welcome in all media channels. The album will be crooned by international pop singers and then we will shoot the entire album.’

For the first time, a Panavision camera has been used in Tamil films and all credits for Sakthi for his handling style in Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal. Since Vettai Mannan is a crime-thriller and is about gangsters, he is using a different tone for the entire film. 18 Vayasu will have more scope for camera works.
