No more reels in future

ManirathnamManirathnam is very busy in the works connected with his next film. The film which is titled Kadal has the cinematography of Rajiv Menon. So far Manirathnam has not used Red One camera in his films.

For the first time, cinematographer Rajiv Menon is shooting Kadal by using Red One camera. For the first time the Tamil film Achamundu Achamundu was shot using Red One camera. Santhosh Shivan who is after a long time handling the camera for a Tamil film is using Red One camera. This film which has Vijay in the lead role is titled Thuppakki.

Since the big directors and actors have started using Red One camera, others have also started switching over to Red One camera which is in digital mode. They have stopped using film reels.
